Girls In The Game

Like the girls we serve, Girls in the Game is growing up. When we opened in 1995 we served 200 girls a year. This year we will serve over 2,000 girls and young women from communities throughout Chicago. Four years of independent research shows that our programs improve girls' health and self-esteem, and every day our girls show us that they are stepping up as leaders - changing their own lives and inspiring their peers.

To celebrate fourteen years of growth, we are proud to debut our inspired new look with a logo that reflects the girls we serve: girls who are healthy, active and strong.

On August 2nd, 2008--Girls in the Game had 5 staff members, 1 TEAM GIG member, and 12 girls complete the Tri-Masters Triathlon! Our girls trained for 13 weeks with the help of a Girls in the Game coach, and many, many dedicated volunteers.
